“ In Life as in football, you won’t go far, unless you know where the goalposts are”- Arnold H. Glasow

This quote means that if you don’t try in what you don”t try hard enough you will not achieve your goal.Just like in football to make your goal you have to try hard. Also if you want to achieve your goal in real life you have to try hard or else you will fail in making the goal. You need to know when it started and when it ended to be able to know what you accomplished or did not accomplish. We all have a pathway to go, but we never know where it leads. We need time to think and see what our lives were. What they have become and how could of you improved it. We all take some time to reflect at the end  of the day.You should be able to reflect at the end of the day and have no regrets because you know what you did was right.

But one day Chris received bad news: his grandfather had been murdered in front of his home. So in memory of his grandfather, Chris Paul played the basketball game and scored exactly 61 points for the years of his grandfather’s life.

“ Only those live who do good “
By: Count Leo Tolstoy

I think this is a good quote. I agree with Counts Leo Tolstoy because the people that are living all have a personality. The living all have spirits. Our spirits dance around and have big dreams and like to explore. We have something that some people wish they had. We have happiness at some point in our lives. We may not see it but our spirits fly around when we are filled with joy. The living have a happy life, we are lucky. But we forget sometimes the important thing to do, to be good. We are selfish because we only think about how we feel. If we have lives why not waste it with something important? Why not waste it doing good things? Why not try being polite or help someone out with something they are struggling with? It seems like a pointless thing to do, but the smallest of actions can make someone feel a bit better. We have lives, so waste it on being good. The good don’t do bad, they have nothing chasing after them, they will live a very healthy happy life with no mistakes, if we did wrong then we’ll begin to fall, hit rock bottom, the wrong will keep eating you until you get tired of it. But if you change all of that, you’ll get to the bigger and better things. We must remember not to give up and if we fall once, you must get right back up.But overall I think this quote is here for us to learn and do good or if you ever did bad for you to learn out of your mistakes and do good.
