CLASS EVALUATION

1. Some things that i like about this class are some of the quotes that we do are interesting. Another thing i like about this class is that i am learning how to type. Also that in my typing tutor i play mini games of typing so i can learn more.
2. Some things i don't like about this class are that we have to type a lot. I don't like it because sometimes i don't even know what to write about. It takes me more time to think about the quote then what i have to write it.
3. Some recommendations for this class is to have better topics to write about. Why? Because some of the topics we get are boring , and that is why some students don't do their work.
4. My highlight in this class is that some quotes actually explain some of the stuff that i do or has happened to me. So that is why when i see a quote we have to do and it goes with me i get really into it. So that's why i get into it and really put feeling in what i write.
5. To be honest i did and i didn't try in this class. Why? Because i didn't do some of the quotes so it put my grade down. But next semester i am gonna try in this class and all my other classes.
6. To be honest sometimes when i get like really really bored i do once in a while read my life planning goals. But other days i don't read them at all.

WHEN YOU TELL ONE LIE IT LEADS TO ANOTHER

This quote is trying to say that telling a lie isn’t    gonna stay in one place, it will multiply everywhere. Lying is the biggest decision, lying makes the problem bigger and bigger, once you lie you lose trust, lying will not solve any problems, lying can really damage your future. If you keep lying, it’s gonna make you feel terrible or maybe regretful, lying is not the best to do and being honest is better, think twice about what you’re gonna do, think carefully.Don’t lie to others because it makes you feel bad and you know that you wanted to say the truth but you just couldn’t say it. Even if you don’t lie and say the truth there are still consequences but it is better than lying. Always speak the truth out never lie and keep it to yourself. Always remember that once you lie you know there will be another lie even if you don’t think that way. Always tell the truth because lies always happen but once you tell one you get used to it and then you will tell more and more lies to everybody even your parents. Always remember that a lie can ruin you because you know that when you lie you lie again and again and you know that lying is the worst thing you can ever do to anyone even yourself. When you tell one tiny lie it is still a lie.

This quote mean that kindness is like the key to your success. Also i think that this quote means that if you are kind to people and in what you do then you will be successful. One example is if you copy and copy and paste out of someone else’s work then that is not kindness of the essence of greatness. Kindness of the essence of greatness is if you would have never copied off of somebody else’s work and you did it on your own. Also if you copied off of somebody else and they realize it you have to be honest about it and say it is true that you copied because if you say no then  that is not kindness of the essence of greatness.

What this quote is trying to tell us is that we all should make the right decision and not to make any mistakes, if it is not right, do not do it, meaning if it’s the wrong thing to do, stay away from it thinks twice and don’t choose the wrong path, once you made that decision you’ll regret it. So i say stay away from the bad things and stay on the good side. If it is not true, do not say it, there is a lot of lies out there, people will believe and may not believe. Saying something that is not true can effect on everyone, you can lose trust, don’t say something that is not true because thats the baddest thing you can do and why join something that you don’t even know about and have the full information of it. Again stay away from the bad side and keep yourself to the good side, staying on the good side will be the best decision.

Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude, Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the united states. It was originally celebrated as the day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. In the united states, the modern thanksgiving holiday tradition is commonly. And it was dated on November 24. It has been celebrated as a federal holiday every year since 1863.Thanksgiving did not become an annual tradition until 200 years later from the first meal.And the first meal in 1621 wasn't just a meal it was a 3 day celebration.They celebrated because the pilgrims had a good harvest and the Indians killed 5 deers as a gift to the pilgrims.Also they did not have turkey neither did they have pumpkin pie or potatoes because it wasn’t introduced to new England. They had cranberries but they were served plain not in a sauce or relish. The pilgrims did not intend to keep it as a tradition.In 1789 president George Washington made the first Thanksgiving meal in November 24, 1789.But it did not become a annual tradition until the 19th century.An american writer named Sara Josepha Hale who wrote Mary had a little lamb wrote a book to trying to explain what happened on that day.In 1827 it took 30 years for it to became a national holiday. She wrote recipes on how to make Pumpkin Pie, Stuffing,Bread,Turkey,Cranberry Sauce, and Mash Potatoes. In 1863 during the Civil War Abraham Lincoln announced they would celebrate Thanksgiving every year on the 24th of November. They actually changed Thanksgiving to a week later to give shop owners a better profit but then changed back to Nov. 24.Every Thanksgiving the President gives pardon to a turkey and sent to a farm for retirement instead of the dinner table.

I think this quote means that Whether you lose or win the most important thing is to do good. Winning might seem like the ultimate prize but when you cheat to win the prize isn’t so good, especially if you get caught. When you choose to be fair and honorable you feel good about yourself and what you have become. Sometimes it could be hard to accomplish a certain task so you choose to find a w=easier way out, but that leads to consequences. The best way to win is to win with dignity. You can always be a winner even if you lose when you choose the right. I have reviewed over 50 quotes by now and they all relate to choosing the right. There is a purpose for that I don’t typically like doing the same thing all the time but when  it comes to doing something you better choose wisely. Because you can see it was worth it to do something good when it took you years rather than do something bad that still took you a long time to complete. I don’t know if that made sense but that was my reflection towards this statement. Choosing the right and being fair is what makes everyone humble and great from the inside. This is through not thinking you receive gain. But you instead win by your actions, seeing that you thought what is best.

      Veterans day

Veterans day is an official holiday in which it is celebrated on the day November 11th this holiday is to honor military veterans which is the people who served for the United States Armed Forces . This holiday is a great one to remember those really important people who once served for us . It is our pleasure to be able to have a memorial day for this people. This holiday also comes along with similar ones like for example Remembrance Day and Armistice Day. Many people are thankful for a day like this because all those who served the military risked their lifes for us.

3. The purpose of this holiday which is called Veterans Day is to remember those who served the military and risked their lifes is it our job to honor them. We also honor them because they faced sacrifices just to fight for our freedom.
4. It is important to show honor on Veterans Day because you’re showing that you care for those people and it shows you are thanking them since they fought our freedom. It also proves you’re  a very thoughtful person.

Example is when you lie to the teacher. You had a 3 page essay due but, you didn’t do it and you knew that if you didn’t do it that will bring your grade really down you knew you would get into trouble with your parents so, you got a classmates essay and you erased his name and put yours. You turned it in and the kid that you took the essay from didn’t turn it in you seen he was really worried so you started to get red. The teacher asked you what is wrong do you know something about his paper you said no a couple of times. Later you feel really guilty so you tell the teacher you took his paper. You did the right thing.

For example when i was smaller i had a baseball game and our team won that game but i wasn't a champion because i was giving attitude to the coach and, i didn't want to go out to play.Because i was scared we might lose but, I went out anyways mad and all that but we ended up winning the game but i wasn't a champion for choosing the wrong.

I’m always happy because of all of me family members and also because I have caring friends. LAUSD SERVICES

What I found out about student services is that there are a lot of names like instructions,email services,doing business,collaboration Tools,communications,Data Reports,emergency information,and library. Those are the names of the all the student services that were shown in the LAUSD net website.I think that these services are really good because they help the students and they have shown that students benefit from them and it helps them to do well in their classes. Students are helping each other with these services and they are having fun but i think that not all the kids are benefiting from these services because they can't or the don't go at all.
